VM SAILS
VM SAILS is the Swiss sailmaker that combines tradition and international sailing. Owner Stephan Fels attaches great importance to the quality of his products and is happy to advise customers on site. The sailmaking business has been associated with the Swiss shores of Lake Constance for 84 years now. During this time, VM sails have won numerous victories in Olympic regattas and world championships. Cruisers and round-the-world sailors also rely on the precision and quality that VM Sails stands for.
POLAAR
The POLAAR sailing school on Lake Constance offers a comprehensive and structured series of learning modules for beginners through to regatta sailors, privately or in groups. In the professionally guided training sessions, participants can learn the basics of sailing or improve their existing skills. For owner Jürg Spreyermann, the focus is on teaching the safe handling of sailing boats, even in strong winds, so that POLAAR training graduates can really enjoy their freedom on the water.
Resailing
In the small workshop of Resailing in Meilen on Lake Zurich, Sandra Hänni has been sewing bags, toiletries, laundry baskets, laptop covers, cushions, key rings and much more from used sails for several years. Recently, she has also been making bags and other useful items from used life jackets, which we at Schäffeler Wassersport provide. Every object that is created here in 100% in-house production is truly unique. Because every lifejacket has its own story, every sail is different in terms of texture and appearance and every product ultimately has an individual design. Resailing stands for the sustainable upcycling of high-quality nautical materials.
