Scope of application
Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH, based in St.Gallen and Tübach, trades in water sports clothing and equipment and offers services in connection with water sports and water sports equipment. These general terms and conditions apply to customers in Switzerland and Liechtenstein for sales of goods, offers and orders on the website https://schaeffeler-wassersport.ch in the version valid at the time of the order.
Order and conclusion of contract
The customer places an online order in the store, which initially constitutes an offer. The order and thus the offer is legally binding for the customer as soon as he/she has agreed to the GTC and clicked on the BUY button.
After receipt of the order, Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH accepts it by sending an order confirmation by e-mail. Only then does a legally valid purchase contract come into being.
Our terms of delivery and sale
After confirming your order, we will send the items you have ordered by mail or parcel service to the delivery address you have provided. Orders are usually shipped the following day. Shipments are always sent by B Mail/Economy.
Should the delivery of the goods fail despite several delivery attempts, Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH may withdraw from the contract.
Offer
The presentation of products and services on schaeffeler-wassersport.ch does not constitute a legally binding offer. Our online offer is subject to change and non-binding.
Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH makes every effort to present the products shown on schaeffeler-wassersport.ch as accurately as possible. Errors, misprints, technical and color changes to the products are nevertheless reserved. Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH accepts no liability for the accuracy of the information on products provided by manufacturers.
If ordered articles are not available in the foreseeable future despite the conclusion of a contract and due to stock discrepancies on schaeffeler-wassersport.ch, Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH shall inform the customer of this circumstance as soon as possible and may offer equivalent articles. If no equivalent items are available either, both parties shall be entitled to withdraw from the contract. In this case, the purchase amount will be refunded.
As soon as this case becomes foreseeable, the customer will be informed immediately of the unavailability of the ordered items. The customer must notify schaeffeler-wassersport.ch of any withdrawal from the contract in writing or by e-mail.
Our sales prices are quoted in Swiss francs including VAT and excluding shipping costs.
Delivery times
Schäffeler Wassersport ships after receipt of payment (if products are in stock). Shipping usually takes 2-3 business days (Switzerland & Liechtenstein).
Shipping costs
Schäffeler Wassersport only ships goods purchased via its online shop to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Packaging and shipping costs in Switzerland and Liechtenstein are CHF 5 or CHF 10, depending on the size of the items. [Update: As of January 3, 2026, we will no longer ship orders over CHF 250 free of charge.]
Prices and VAT
For deliveries to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, VAT of 8.1% is included in the displayed price.
For items ordered from Schäffeler Wassersport , only the prices displayed in the shopping cart immediately before the order is submitted apply. However, we reserve the right to correct any errors in the price display.
Payment options
Credit card, Twint and prepayment (only in Switzerland and Liechtenstein) are accepted.
Prepayment
In the case of prepayment, production/delivery will not take place until payment has been received. If you order in advance, an electronic QR payment slip (as a PDF) will be sent to you by e-mail.
The products are reserved until the end of the payment period of 5 calendar days. You can pay the invoice within this period conveniently without cash by post or bank transfer.
Credit card
You can also pay for your order by credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express - via Stripe.com) or PayPal.
Twint
You can also pay for your order conveniently via Twint.
Voucher
You can pay for your order with a Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH voucher. To do this, enter the code on the voucher in the appropriate field of the order. A voucher can only be redeemed for the full amount.
The amount of the vouchers is fixed. The vouchers are issued exclusively in CHF and are freely transferable.
Cash payment of vouchers is excluded.
Retention of title
The ordered goods shall remain the property of Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH until full payment has been received.
Right of withdrawal/right of return
You can cancel the contract within 14 days of receipt of the goods by returning the goods with a description of the reason for the return. The return of the goods is at your responsibility and expense.
Exceptions:
For reasons of safety and liability, the right of withdrawal and return does not apply to inflatable life jackets.
For reasons of hygiene, the right of withdrawal and return also does not apply to bikinis or swimsuits (one-piece swimsuits).
Furthermore, the right of withdrawal and return does not apply to items sold at a promotional price.
The right of withdrawal and return also does not apply to club clothing, as this is finished to order.
Furthermore, only items that are absolutely undamaged and in perfect condition will be taken back. The items can be tried on, but worn, soiled, damaged or badly smelling products cannot be taken back. If this is not the case, we reserve the right to assert claims for compensation.

We will deduct the purchase price of a returned item from the total amount. If the total amount has already been transferred to Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH, you can choose between a voucher or a cash refund. If no preference is communicated to us, we will issue a refund.
We will only refund the purchase price, not the shipping costs.
Delivery defects
We ask you to check the delivered items immediately for correctness, completeness and integrity. Complaints regarding the scope of delivery, material defects, incorrect deliveries and deviations in quantity must be notified to us in writing by email within 5 working days of receipt of the goods. Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH shall examine the defect immediately. If the defect is accepted by Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH, you will receive an identical replacement item, if in stock, and the shipping costs will be refunded. Otherwise the entire amount will be refunded.
Data protection
The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We observe the applicable data protection regulations and protect your data against unauthorized access by third parties (data security precautions).
Our online store is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer), which means that all data relating to the offer and your payment and customer data are transmitted securely to us.
Schäffeler Wassersport is entitled to use your personal data to send you special offers or information about new collections. You can revoke your consent to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes at any time by sending an e-mail to info@schaeffeler-wassersport.ch.
We use technical and organizational measures to secure our website and other systems against loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorized persons. Access to your shopping account is only possible after entering your personal password.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
The contractual relationship between you and Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH shall be governed by substantive Swiss law to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods of April 11, 1980 (UN Sales Convention). The place of jurisdiction for all disputes shall be St. Gallen. Schäffeler Wassersport GmbH shall also be entitled to bring an action before the court at the customer's domicile/place of residence.
